What I’ve Always Dreamed Of

Received the greatest news I’ve been waiting for, for the past 2 years–to be readmitted back into the university.

I couldn’t have done it without the help of those who have never gave up on me, and always believed in my ambitions and dreams. Now, is the most challenging part of reaching my goals: to stick to it.

I have been dismissed from school for quite some time, and in that time, I was able to reflect on myself and realize the importance of continuing my education and pursuing a life-long dream. I fell short of belief in myself towards this moment, but sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to go back up. Due to the experiences I have encountered, I do not regret a single decision I have made thus far. The sacrifices I made for a better future are finally falling into place and I hope to further myself in all aspects that I know I can and WILL achieve.

This is a sign for me to do what’s right for me. Selfless and selfish, both working hand in hand to achieve all that is great in the end.

I am looking at my life in advance from now on, so that I can keep my goals within reach and just simply be me.

To my future self, I am so proud of your accomplishments and how hard-driven you are–do not ever give up on yourself! There are so many more obstacles to overcome, and this is your beginning. Start from scratch and work your way up. Stop living in the past and plan for a better future. Keep your motivations sky high so that you may never falter and feel below the earth. You gotta do what you gotta do.
