No pain, no gain

Okay, I haven’t been diligent about posting my daily goals.

But not to fret! I have been keeping a mental checklist,  however it does seem less effective than tracking actual progress.

So I may have to develop another way to track my goals. Let’s begin with conditioning project “Goodbye Love Handles”.

Today is March 14th, 2014, and this is where I begin:

My first step is to get rid of the lower belly fat, which is most likely produced from the stress hormone cortisol.

Actions to take:
1. Reduce stress related activities
(I.e. smoking, traffic, binge eating)
2. Workout at least 30 mins a day
3. Drink PLENTY water
4. Eat in moderation
(No impulse eats, if so, eat light)
5. Keep this journal

Let’s see how far I can go!

Feeling like

The most productive day I’ve had yet.

I had the day off today, and boy does it feel great to accomplish things off my to do list! Almost as if, I’m bored sitting around doing nothing because there’s so much more I want to do–the old me.
I’m beginning to think that helpful criticism of myself and habits are my fuel items to motivate me to get up,  start the day right, and just do what I have to do.

Today I:
1. Recycled bottles
2. Looked for carpet repairs
3. Returned a tool
4. Made lunch
5. Returned a borrowed game
6. Did laundry
7. Filed taxes (80%)
8. Followed up on a prescription
9. Took in the garbage bins
10. Repaired laptop liner

And some other things that made me happy today.

I want to continue this routine I’ve longed for in a while. I miss having control of my life to the point where I can sleep peacefully. My restless nights are probably due to my lack of completing my mental to do lists, so I must continue doing these things instead of being complacent.

From now on, I will log a daily entry for my achievements.

Next goals:
1. Exercise
2. Eat healthy
3. Cut down unnecessary expenses
4. Drink more water (at least 1 cup in the morning, 1 in the afternoon, 1 in the evening)
5. Throw away things that are sitting around

I pledge to be happy and yearning. Lately, my mind is racing because of the clutter I have accumulated.

I’ll call it my “Daily Just-Do-It Routine”.

To end this uplifting post, I must say I am beginning to start a front-view mirror journey to success.

Happy Thursday! 🙂
